Statue Filling Workshop
with Kadampa Buddhist Monk, Kelsang Chokyan
Friday, February 26th 7pm - Sunday February 28th 3pm.
Course Description
Kelsang Chokyan, the Resident Teacher at Parbawatiya Kadampa Buddhist Center in Safety Harbor, FL was trained in statue filling this past summer in the new NKT Art & Statue Filling studio at Manjushri KMC in England.
Over this weekend we will be training people in filling statues 12 inches and smaller. We will learn how to correctly prepare, clean and seal statues; and how to prepare filling substances like mantra rolling. There will be statues available for training purposes.
You are welcome to bring your statues for guidance from Kelsang Chokyan on filling, but they will not be getting filled over this weekend course.
