January: Where's the Joy? The Pursuit of Happiness

Everyone wants to enjoy their life but we often find it hard to be happy. In this series we will look at what undermines our daily happiness; states of mind such as dissatisfaction, craving, irritation and anxiety, and learn how to remove them.

We will also learn how to cultivate inner causes of happiness such as peace, balance and beneficial intentions that allow us to enjoy any environment.

The purpose of meditation is to make our mind calm and peaceful. We do this by developing positive states of mind in meditation and integrating this experience into our daily life. Each of these classes is self-contained and includes guided meditation, a talk, and questions and answers. Everyone is welcome regardless of belief or previous experience.
