Resident Teacher
The Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Florida is American Kadampa Buddhist nun Gen Kelsang Demo. Gen Demo has been studying and practicing Buddhism for many years under the guidance of her teacher, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, who gave her the title Gen, indicating she is an ordained teacher in the Kadampa Tradition.
Gen Demo has taught at various Kadampa Centers over the past 15 years. She is admired as a Buddhist teacher and in particular she is known for her warmth and clear presentation of Buddha’s teachings. She is an inspiring example of how to integrate Buddha’s teachings into modern life.
