• Living meaningfully, dying joyfully (Live Stream)

    Saturday, February 27th, 10:00 am - 3:15 pm

  • About This Event

In this course we will learn, from a Buddhist perspective, what is death, what happens after death, and how an awareness of our own mortality inspires us to lead a meaningful life.

Normally, the subject of death can make us feel uncomfortable and uneasy. However, Buddha taught contemplating death liberates us from our daily anxieties, and helps us to prioritize our life to make time for spiritual practice. An awareness of death acts like a moral compass, prevents us from wasting our life and taking things for granted, and helps us to invest our time in ways that are truly meaningful. Through leading a meaningful life we will die without regrets and transition into our next life with peace in our hearts.

Advice will be given on how to prepare for death and to help others who are dying. In this way, instead of something to be feared or denied, death can become a positive and transformative experience.

The video recordings of the retreat sessions will be available for 72 hours after it is live streamed for all those who register. A link will be email after the class is complete
